Fellow Creatures promotes veganism to reduce the suffering of domesticated and wild animals who are bred, raised, used and slaughtered for meat, dairy, eggs, ingredients, clothing and other products. Fellow Creatures promotes veganism as a means to save wild animals by reducing poaching/hunting, deforestation and to slow or stop climate change. Another benefit to eating a healthy, balanced plant-based diet is that you may notice improvements in your own health.
You will find links below to animal rights and environmental activist groups, animal and environmental education, vegan nutritional supplements suggestions, vegan food information, vegan recipes and plant-based health providers.
Ideally the whole world will soon be vegan, though unfortunately that is not realistic for many reasons. Not everyone has the willpower, drive or ability to be 100% vegan, not everyone feels comfortable following a 100% vegan diet for various reasons, but even just reducing your consumption and purchases of animal products makes a difference in the lives of animals. It can take years to adjust to a 100% vegan lifestyle. It takes time to learn how to shop for and cook vegan meals and to figure out what vegan foods you like and what makes you feel nourished. It takes time to learn what supplements you may need, where to purchase them and how to take them. Don’t feel bad if you can’t be 100% vegan right away, be proud of your efforts and know that each meal or each day that you eat vegan, you’re saving the lives of animals who wanted to live without suffering just like you do.
